Overview

Wilder is an AI-powered adventure planning app. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what we don't do with it.

Data stored on your device

All trip plans, saved adventures, gear checklists, and journal entries are stored locally on your device using your browser's built-in storage (localStorage and IndexedDB). This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Data we process

When you generate a trip plan, the details you enter (starting location, destination, dates, group size, vehicle type, and preferences) are sent to Anthropic's API to generate your plan. This data is used solely to produce your trip plan and is subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.

When you share a trip plan, the plan data is stored temporarily on our servers for up to 90 days to generate a shareable link. No personal information is attached to shared plans.

What we don't collect

• We do not collect your name, email, or any account information
• We do not use advertising or tracking cookies
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties
• We do not collect precise location data

Analytics

We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (such as page visits) to understand how the app is used and improve it. This data cannot be used to identify individual users.

Children's privacy

Wilder is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
