Day Hike Packing List
Day hikes are deceptively easy to under-prepare for. Conditions change fast — especially at elevation — and a short trail can become a long day. This list follows the Ten Essentials framework and is calibrated for a moderate 4–10 mile day hike for 1–4 people.
